About
Saranam Ayyappa app is a complete guide to Ayyappa devotees. It features pooja scheduling, devotee groups, and travel guide to Sabarimala.
The Problem
The user interface design was not there. The challenge was simple and straight forward to come up with a clean design.
The Team
Since the requirement was for only user interface uplift, I was on it because all other departments were in place.
Process
Following the Design Thinking approach we developed a plan which is divided into three stages:
Understand
Understand the product, clarify initial assumptions, uncover user pain-points, and insights.
Design
Visualize the solutions in a way that they can be validated as well as refined early and often.
Evolve
Design never ends, but we need to continue our pursuit of perfection by improving the product on a consistent basis.

Intro screens
Since it is a devotional app, I wanted to bring a traditional look for intro screens with artistic elements that connect and appeal devotionally. Poojas, Groups, Media, Pooja services, and Yatra, each category has its own story, theme, meaning, and visual representation.
Home
I wanted all categories as soft buttons with the help of traditional icons, making it a complete devotional app with a couple of bottom navigation options.
