Adilapuram Design Studio is a product and UX design practice focused on creating intuitive, scalable digital products at the intersection of business, design, and technology.

Led by a senior Product Designer with over 10 years of experience, the studio works with startups, scale-ups, and established organisations to bring clarity to complex problems. The focus is on creating digital experiences that are not only visually refined but grounded in real user needs and aligned with business objectives.

The approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and outcome-driven. Every engagement begins with understanding the problem space, balancing user insights, technical constraints, and strategic goals before moving into design execution. This ensures solutions are practical, scalable, and meaningful, not just aesthetically pleasing.

Adilapuram Design Studio works across the full product lifecycle, from early discovery and UX research through to interaction design, high-fidelity UI, prototyping, usability testing, and design systems. The work is deeply integrated with product and engineering teams, supporting both new product development and the evolution of existing platforms.

Based in Sydney and working globally, the studio has experience across FinTech, B2B/B2C digital products, partnering closely with founders, product leaders, and engineering teams to design products that are intuitive, resilient, and built to grow.

Founder

Ramesh Adilapuram is a senior Product and UX Designer with over 10 years of experience designing and delivering digital products across FinTech, B2B and B2C environments.

He has worked closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to lead end-to-end product design, from discovery and user research through to interaction design, high-fidelity UI, prototyping, usability testing, and scalable design systems. His experience spans FinTech, B2B and B2C complex platform products, supporting both 0→1 initiatives and mature products at scale.

Ramesh is known for a pragmatic, outcome-driven approach, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints to deliver clear, intuitive solutions. He operates as a strong individual contributor who integrates seamlessly into cross-functional product teams.

Based in Sydney, he is available for full-time, contract, and consulting engagements through Adilapuram Design Studio.

Founder

I’m a UI/UX and Product Designer from Sydney with over ten years of experience creating digital experiences. I’m passionate about crafting seamless end-to-end experiences and excel at connecting business goals, design thinking, and technical execution.

I grew up in Hyderabad, India. My journey into the design field began with a childhood passion for drawing and painting, which later evolved into a career of creating seamless digital experiences.

Currently based in Sydney, Australia. Outside of work, you’ll find me playing cricket and spending time with my wonderful small family.

Paylab is a Fintech start-up. Paylab is a B2B and B2C app where employees can access accrued wages, and buy gift cards at discounted prices.

As the solo Product Designer at Paylab, I restructured the app with new features, enhanced navigation, user journeys, and onboarding.

  • Redesigned the Paylab app by applying user-centered design principles. Transformed the app into a feature-rich experience by applying UX best practices
  • Led UX research initiatives and conducted comprehensive UX and UI audits to enhance user experience and optimise usability across iOS and Android platforms
  • Developed and implemented a new design system that seamlessly integrated the updated Paylab brand identity
  • Worked closely with stakeholders, product managers, and developers to ship user-centric, pixel-perfect, and accessible user experiences.

Vine Digital is a digital marketing agency specialising in serving clients in the healthcare industry. Vine’s services include search engine optimisation(SEO), paid media advertising, content creation, website design and development.

My approach to the design process

User Research

My first step in the design process. This allows me to understand the target audience, their behavior, goals, motivation and what is needed for the project.

Wireframe

Second step is wireframing and this will make me explore the usability of my design including the hierarchy of content, allocation of space, and distribution of images.

Design

At the end of this phase you’ll have a pixel perfect design for your app or website. During the transition from wireframes into the final design I create prototypes simulating final end results before development.

Development

Since I’m a designer who can code too, I can easily work in close collaboration with developers up until the finish line and beyond. In case of web projects I also do front-end development.

Quality Test

Complete overview of my design process through regular meetings. After the initial design versions I’m happy to do user testing with customers to ensure the best possible solutions for their needs.

I help convert a vision and an idea into meaningful and useful products. Having a sharp eye for product evolution helps me prioritize tasks, iterate fast and deliver faster.
