Overview

Defining and redesigning the app completely from wireframe and prototypes to high fidelity mock designs to make it user-friendly and clutter-free experience.

About

Fankick is a complete entertainment mobile app covering different categories like Sports, Movies, Music, and TV shows where user can follow their favorite sports and earn Fancoins.

The Problem

There were too many features and options were packed in the app which was confusing the navigation. The challenge was to make it clutter-free and bring a smooth user experience.

The Team

A well-versed team, consisting of professional and experienced product managers, developers, and content writers with all UI UX efforts on the integration led by myself.

Process

Following the Design Thinking approach we developed a plan which is divided into three stages:

Understand

Understand the product, clarify initial assumptions, uncover user pain-points, and insights.

Wireframe & Design

Visualize the solutions in a way that they can be validated as well as refined early and often.

Evolve

Design never ends, but we need to continue our pursuit of perfection by improving the product on a consistent basis.

Wireframe

A wireframe is the skeleton of the design. My wireframe versions will be more than the UI design versions because I believe outer shape will form based on its inner engineering.

For Fankick my biggest challenge was to make it clutter-free UX in the first place, and I’ve worked on eliminating unnecessary roadblocks to make it a smooth experience of Contests, Fanclubs, and Fanwall.
